Brigadier General Wojciech Ozga has built an extensive career in multinational defence and security cooperation, serving across national, NATO and UN missions in Europe and the Middle East.

A seasoned leader with deep expertise in operational planning, defence resource management, and alliance strategy, he has contributed to NATO’s adaptation in response to evolving security challenges, including post-Crimea Assurance and Adaptation Measures and subsequent collective defence strategies. His distinguished service includes senior assignments at NATO Headquarters (NATO HQ), Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Joint Force Command Naples (JFCN) and within the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces.

He played a key role in preparing and implementing the outcomes of NATO Summits in Wales, Warsaw, Brussels, Madrid and Vilnius which directly shaped defence planning, allied command structures, and collective security measures.

Brigadier General Ozga has also served as the Counsellor to the Chief of the Polish Armed Forces, as the Deputy Polish Military Representative to the NATO Military Committee and as Polish National Military Representative to SHAPE.

He is currently the Commander of the NATO Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He has been decorated with national, NATO, and UN honours, including the Golden Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland, the NATO Medal for service in Kosovo and the Former Yugoslavia, as well as the UNIFIL Medal for service in Lebanon.

Born in Puławy, Poland, Brigadier General Ozga is married to Urszula. They have two children, Dominika and Konrad.
